Delivery Groups

The Delivery Groups

The Delivery Groups are responsible for taking forward operational matters within the Policies identified in the Management Plan, and especially for the suite of Actions highlighted in the Plan. The Chairperson of each Delivery Group will be a member of the Partnership Board, to which each Group will report.

The areas of responsibility of the Delivery Groups are divided as follows:

            Conservation, Planning & Heritage Management

            Archaeological Research

            Farming & Land Management

            Communications & Marketing

            Tourism & Transport

            Education

The diagram shows the relationship of the Delivery Groups to the Partnership Board, and thus to the other elements in the management of the World Heritage Site.

The Terms of Reference for the Delivery Groups were agreed at the first meeting of the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site Partnership Board, in May 2015.
