Mickledore Travel specialises in self-guided walking holidays and cycling trips for the independent traveller. We have been organising walking holidays on Hadrian’s Wall since the opening of the National Trail in 2001 and have a great selection of characterful, friendly accommodation along the entire route.
We book all your accommodation, move your luggage between overnight stops, provide you with maps and guidebooks, and all the details you need for a successful holiday. You just turn up and walk!
We think self-guided walks are the best way to really experience local landscapes, cultures & history. You walk under your own steam, at your own pace, safe in the knowledge that we have organised everything, and help is only a phone call away.
We have a variety of different holidays depending on how far you want to walk each day, and how much time you have. From 6 to 11 days holidays covering the entire route, to a 3 day “Best of Hadrian’s Wall” short break, I’m sure we’ll find something to suit you. You can walk in either direction, and we can customise your holiday further if you want something different.
Customer service is central to our organisation – we’ll make sure you have the holiday you want. We are also fully bonded through ABTA, so your payments are secure.
