Manor House Inn
The Manor House Inn is located in what is geographically known as 'the Centre of Britain' and only a 10 minute drive to the historical Roman Wall. Ideally positioned for walkers, bikers, cyclists and golfers in search of either a short or long term stay. We have six very clean and comfortable en suite bedrooms. Three of which are designed to a more traditional aspect of the original building, one recently refurbished May 2010. The other three rooms have recently undergone a complete refurbishment in December 2010, to a more modern design and to a very high standard. All rooms come with tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen colour TVs, hairdryers and ironing facilities upon request, local information booklets for tourists, cyclists, walkers etc. Our restaurant seats 36 and is away from the public bar and dining area if a more relaxed quiet evening meal is what you're after. The dining area itself seats a further 38 if a more bar meal local atmosphere takes your fancy. Both areas serve a wide variety of good home made food ranging from bar snacks to main meals, with our Sunday dinners especially very popular in the area. Our filling breakfast, served in the restaurant, gets you off to a good start to the day. The bar itself serves up a variety of real ales, wines and spirits in a good old traditional friendly environment which is open all year round excluding Christmas Day. The public bar itself can be very lively, especially at weekends as it is a popular watering hole for both passing public and locals. Both pool and darts can be played in the games area, whilst gaming machines, jukebox and Sky TV showing regular sporting events add to the entertainment on offer. There is parking to both the front and rear of the premises and we also have safe storage for cycles, motorbikes and golfing equipment. We offer laundry facilities upon request and there is also a laundrette straight opposite. We pride ourselves in providing a clean, comfortable, friendly and warm environment during your stay with us, whether it's for one night or one week, with everything we have to offer under one roof together with the perfect base location to all what this wonderful part of the country has to offer, I'm sure your stay with us will be a pleasant one. Walkers, cyclists, golfers, large/small parties and children are all welcome at the Manor House Inn.
