Any and all of the Roman Forts between Birdoswald and Corbridge and places in between with a guide who will tell you what you're looking at and fill in the history that goes with it.

Start at Steel Rigg then walk 2 miles of the most iconic section of the Wall to Housesteads with the option of walking a further 1.5 miles or transport to Vindolanda.

ALL DAY WALK (10:00am)

Start at the Roman Army Museum with transport to Cawfields. Then a 7 mile walk to Vindolanda via Housesteads and transport back.
