Vallum Barn

A warm welcome awaits you at Vallum Barn, our beautifully converted, spacious barn only 1/2 mile from Hadrian's Wall footpath. We have 2 large en suite bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed, both rooms are individually decorated and furnished to a high standard. Relax and unwind in the comfortable guest lounge with views of the garden and open fields.


Walkers and cyclists are very welcome, we have secure storage for bicycles and a drying room for wet boots and clothes. Packed lunches are available on request.


Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking a traditional farmyard. Choose from a wide range of cereals, fruit and yoghurt followed by a delicious Cumbrian breakfast using free range eggs and local and Fairtrade produce. Special diets can be catered for.


There is a pub in the village which serves excellent evening meals on most days.
