Leazes Head
Set in beautiful countryside, Leazes Head is the perfect retreat from a days walking or cycling.

We are a great base for exploring Northumberland’s Castles and Coastline. Or maybe a visit to Kielder’s Dark Sky Observatory.

Visitors can be in the bustling throng of Newcastle in 30 minutes by car, sampling what the famous nightlife has to offer or maybe a shopping trip at the nearby Metro Centre.

We are located 0.5 miles from the Hadrian’s Wall National Trail, which is approximately a 10 min walk. Visitors to Leazes Head can easily walk to Chesters Roman Fort which is probably one of the best preserved forts on Hadrian’s Wall and is well worth a visit.
